Odille Rault is a French journalist. She worked for the newspaper Le Monde from 1995 to 1999, and La Croix from 2000 to 2003. She is currently a columnist for the newspaper Libération. Her book, "La Princesse des déserts," was shortlisted for the Prix Femina in 2000 and was awarded two literary prizes: the Prix Goncourt in 2001 and the Prix des libraires in 2003. In 2009, she released "Mort à Venise," a novel about a murder mystery sweepstakes on French radio. Her new novel, "La Vénus de Milo," released in France on April 21, 2012, tells of a journalist who returns to her hometown of Marseille to investigate a case of theft and vandalism against the Venus de Milo statue.
